ปลายี่สกเทศ Rohu

Rohu fish products / Nuan Chan fish, whole or processed, ready to cook. Available both fresh and frozen.
There are both cut pieces, cut butterflies, grated meat and fish roe.

ปลายี่สกเทศ Rohu มีชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ว่า ( Sciencetific name ) :Labeo rohita

It is an economic fish that is commonly consumed in this region, prepared fresh such as curry in Thailand. As well as catla catla and Mirgal (cirrhinus cirrhosus) to breed as a domestic economic fish.
Appears to have been successful as well And has been very popular It is widely cultivated in many projects of the Department of Fisheries in both the North and Isan regions, and is also popular with various fishing ponds until it is able to self-propagate in water sources of Thailand such as the Mekong River, Rohu fish. เป็นปลาเศรษฐกิจที่นิยมใช้บริโภคในภูมิภาคแถบนี้ โดยปรุงสด เช่นแกงกะหรี่ในประเทศไทยถูกนำเข้ามาในปีพ.ศ. 2511เช่นเดียวกับปลากระโห้เทศ(Catla catla) และปลานวลจันทร์เทศ(Cirrhinus cirrhosus) เพื่อเพาะเลี้ยงขยายพันธุ์เป็นปลาเศรษฐกิจในประเทศ ปรากฏว่าได้ผลสำเร็จเป็นอย่างดี และได้รับความนิยมมาก โดยมีการเลี้ยงอย่างแพร่หลายในหลายโครงการของกรมประมงทั้งในภาคเหนือและภาคอีสานอีกทั้งยังเป็นที่นิยมของบ่อตกปลาต่าง ๆ อีกด้วย จนสามารถขยายพันธุ์ได้เองในแหล่งน้ำของประเทศไทย เช่น ที่แม่น้ำโขง ปลายี่สกเทศนิยมบริโภคในในประเทศแถบตะวันออกกลาง
